Hybrid learning - How digitalisation is shaping the future of schools

This article is 3 years old

As the field of education braces unpredictable shifts amid school reopening, how to ensure the quality of classroom experiences for both instructors and students under this pandemic has become a global challenge. Hybrid learning, also known as Online-Merge-Offline (OMO), offers flexibility and promotes collaborations in the face of uncertain circumstances. In this presentation, I mainly focus on how to integrate education technology into school system, which enables interactive activities, multifunctional tools such as selector, virtual breakout rooms, virtual laboratory, as well as an online database of open educational resources, and classroom management mechanisms. Working together, these digital affordances not only ensure in-sync access to the class, but they also encourage interactions by all participants. With ClassIn, learning activities across time and space form a continuity in which students can thrive and prepare themselves for a better future.
