Malaysia Specialty Coffee Association hosts Digital Malaysia Coffee Week with Shopee

KUALA LUMPUR, 3 December - From now till 12 December, the Malaysia Specialty Coffee Association (MSCA) will be hosting its first-ever Digital Malaysia Coffee Week with Shopee, offering deals on the platform as well as ShopeePay Vouchers through “Deals Near Me” from across more than 40 brands.

The campaign will see members of the association offering coffee beans, coffee grinders, related machines and appliances, coffee capsules and cafe promotions both online and offline.

Throughout the campaign, brands such as Lavazza and De’Longhi Group are offering vouchers for discounts of 12%. Meanwhile, JWC Roastery and Drum Coffee Roaster will be offering vouchers of up to 95% discount on 12 December whilst DaVinci Gourmet will have deals for as low as 12 sen.

The excitement does not stop there as 1,000 lucky coffee connoisseurs will stand to win giveaways worth RM30,000 in total, consisting of a coffee mug, coffee drip bag, drip coffee kettle and more when they join the Digital Malaysia Coffee Week Share and Win contest. To enter, users only need to spend a minimum of RM12 from participating brands, take a picture of their parcel and post it up on Facebook or Instagram and tag @MalaysiaCoffeeWeek, @Shopee_MY and the participating merchant’s account.

Yip Leong Sum, President of the MSCA said, “Malaysians have a love for coffee as their favourite beverage. With now being the year-end festive season, we hope to bring some cheer through our offerings both online and offline. At the same time, we also have a contest for people to take part in, further bringing excitement to the event throughout the week.”

Meanwhile, Three Little Birds Coffee, 103 Coffee Workshop, The Brew Crew and others will also be available on ShopeeFood within the Klang Valley, with vouchers offering Free Delivery and discounts up to RM8 with a minimum spend of RM30.

The Digital Malaysia Coffee Week coincides with Shopee’s 12.12 Birthday Sale shopping festival, currently ongoing till 12 December.

The festival celebrating Shopee’s sixth birthday is offering Free Shipping Vouchers with no minimum spend and treating users with 12 million vouchers up for grabs. One lucky shopper will walk away with a new car by playing Spin & Win Hyundai Kona, fully sponsored by AIG Malaysia Insurance Bhd. Meanwhile, Malaysians topping up their ShopeePay mobile wallets from now till 11 December can look forward to receiving up to 12,121 Shopee Coins once a day.

Shopee will also be hosting its 12.12 Birthday Bash TV Show on Shopee Live and TV3 from 9PM on 11 December. The show will feature local celebrities such as Misha Omar, K-Clique, Siti Nordiana and more. Viewers will also be enticed with XBox Series X, Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryers and 12 million Shopee Coins up for grabs during the night’s Shopee Shake Battle Mode. The TV show will also feature Timbang & Menang, where viewers can guess the weight of randomly selected objects by the host and win up to RM15,000.
