The Body Shop’s Changemakers’ Workshop aims to turn your self-care moments into positive changes

This article is a year old

Changemakers can come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Contrary to popular opinion, you don’t have to hold a placard to be one.

At The Body Shop they know that anyone who follows their instincts to change society for the better can definitely call themselves a changemaker. Hence, they decided to launch their newest changemaker’s workshop concept store at Suria KLCC. It is an interactive stomping ground for all changemakers to actively exchange ideas, confront injustice and learn about the incredible beauty products.

Experience a sensorial place to dunk your hands  into The Body Shop products and at the same time explore the rich stories of the people and plants behind them.

Across the world, The Body Shop’s Changemakers’ Workshop stores have been designed to reflect the local communities they serve

In KLCC, a detailed mural entitled Flow of Nature by artist Haris Rashid shares the brand’s message of Changemaking for the Planet.

Rashid's mural serves as a stunning centrepiece within the store, capturing the essence of environmental consciousness and inspiring customers to take action. The mural acts as a visual reminder that every individual has the power to make a positive impact and contribute to a more sustainable future.

The Body Shop a Refill destination.

Change begins with small acts of love for the planet. This is not a gimmick. The honest truth is that transforming the way people buy beauty products is impossible without the support of the global community. With refill stations, The Body Shop is encouraging people to hold on to their aluminium bottles and see that the power to make a positive change is, literally, in their hands.

The interior of the store is also a testament to The Body Shop's dedication to sustainability. Rather than using traditional building materials, the store's design incorporates upcycled materials and recycled plastic. This creative approach not only reduces waste but also demonstrates the brand's commitment to finding innovative solutions to environmental challenges.

The Body Shop Malaysia is now a B Corp Certified Company

Even before the certification, The Body Shop Malaysia is known to be meeting high standards to promote social and environmental change through positive business practices.

“We also ensure that The Body Shop Malaysia will continuously do better in meeting the high standards to promote sustainability as it is in our DNA to pioneer environmental sustainability and we will keep doing it.” said Dexter Foong, Director of Corporate Development, InNature Berhad.

The Body Shop Malaysia's most sustainable store in Suria KLCC is a testament to the brand's dedication to environmental stewardship and social responsibility. It goes beyond offering quality products and takes concrete actions to minimise its environmental impact. By providing a platform for customers to actively participate in sustainability, this store sets a new standard for retail, inspiring others to follow suit and driving positive change for the planet.
