HRD Corp announces NHCCE 2023

Kuala Lumpur, 12 September 2023 – Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) announced its National Human Capital Conference & Exhibition (NHCCE) 2023 yesterday at a media event officiated by Minister of Human Resources, YB Tuan V. Sivakumar. 

The NHCCE 2023 is set to take place from 30 to 31 October 2023 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur. The NHCCE 2023 builds on the success of NHCCE 2022, which received an overwhelming response from its delegates spanning the Southeast Asian region.

Back with a new theme, ‘Pioneering Growth, Inspiring Change’, the NHCCE aims to help organisations and human resources (HR) practitioners stay ahead of the shifting demands in the modern workplace. With multiple disruptions shaping workplace dynamics, it is time for a reset to pioneer new growth opportunities and inspire change to achieve a more sustainable and resilient future for organisations and employees.

Bringing it up a notch, the NHCCE 2023 will feature a more robust speaker line-up of more than 30 world-renowned human capital thought-leaders, forward-thinking HR practitioners, and subject matter experts such as Dave Ulrich, often touted as the father of modern HR and professor of business at Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, Frank Furness, the Founder and past president of the Northwest London Speakers Club, Dr Donald H Taylor, Chairman of The Learning and Performance Institute will be part of the speaker line-up, along with local industry leaders such as Ann Osman, Malaysia’s first female MMA Athlete & Managing Director, School of Ultimate Learning and Amar Chhajer, Country Head – Malaysia of UST Global (M) Sdn Bhd.

The speakers will lead insightful conversations about modern human capital development challenges from an international and local perspective. The discussions will be based on five (5) key topics covering five (5) pillars Technology & Innovation, Leadership & Growth, Motivation & Wellbeing, Learning & Development, and Dynamic Workforce & Future Workplace. These discussions will give way to a new discourse for human capital development, empowering HR practitioners to take up more strategic roles in their respective organisations. 

Speaking at the media announcement, Minister of Human Resources Yang Berhormat Tuan V. Sivakumar said, “Dynamic human capital development policies are one of the most important drivers of the country’s developed economy aspirations. The NHCCE 2023 is timely as it serves as a platform for stakeholders from across industries to come together, exchange insights, and chart a course towards a more robust and dynamic workforce ecosystem.“

He added that the government understands the importance of forging collaborative relationships with all parties as it guides them towards formulating better initiatives that are receptive towards the community’s needs. He believes that the Conference is aligned with this vision as it provides a space for all parties to shape the future of human capital in the country.

Datuk Wira Shahul Dawood, the Chief Executive of HRD Corp and the Chairman of the NHCCE 2023 Working Committee said, ”With 30 world-renowned human capital thought leaders and subject matters coming together to lead insightful discussions, we hope the Conference will inspire the region’s talents and industry players to drive impactful human capital transformation efforts in their respective organisations.”

He was also confident the NHCCE 2023 would build on its strong foundation and continue being a breeding ground for innovative solutions to address modern human capital development challenges.

In addition to the thought-provoking discussions, NHCCE 2023 will also be hosting one of the largest exhibition areas in Malaysia this year. The exhibition area will feature over 400 reputable exhibitors, providing the latest trends in upskilling models, new technologies and well-being platforms, advancing the growth of organisations and individuals.

Conference passes for NHCCE 2023 are now open for purchase. The Standard Pass is priced at RM2,500, and the Group Pass is available at RM2,250 per person, with a minimum of three (3) participants. Government servants will only need to pay RM1,800 for the Government Pass, while students will only need to pay RM500 to acquire the Student Pass.

NHCCE 2023 will also be making International Pass available for foreign delegates at USD1,000 for the Standard Pass and USD900 for each person for the Group Pass, at the minimum participation of three people. As part of the Malaysia Day celebration, interested parties is entitled to receive a 5% discount on all passes from 1 to 16 September 2023.
