KPJ Healthcare Launches First Healthcare Expo in Jakarta

Driven by its patient-centric purpose and in providing convenience to its valued Indonesian patients, KPJ Healthcare Berhad (“KPJ Healthcare” or “the Group”), is proud to unveil its inaugural KPJ Healthcare Expo (“KPJHX 2024”), with the participation of hospitals within the KPJ Group from 16 to 19 May 2024 at Central Park Mall, Jakarta Barat. 

Aligned with KPJ Healthcare’s motto, Care for Life, KPJHX 2024 will travel to Surabaya next month and other Indonesian cities. The Expo will enable patients and healthcare professionals to explore the latest in medical excellence as well as the comprehensive range of healthcare options available through KPJ Healthcare’s network, including groundbreaking treatments and technologies.

KPJHX 2024 will also be providing guests with a spectrum of support – from financial services to logistical assistance and exceptional stay experiences, ensuring a holistic approach to healthcare and wellness. All these are testament of KPJ’s commitment in providing accessible and high-quality medical care that goes beyond Malaysia. It also serves as a crucial platform for strengthening medical tourism ties between Malaysia and Indonesia, ensuring accurate information is shared with Indonesian patients before they consider seeking treatment in KPJ hospitals.

The opening ceremony and expo launch were marked by the presence of distinguished guests including TYT Dato’ Syed Md Hasrin Tengku Hussin @ Syed Hussin, Ambassador of Malaysia to Indonesia and other esteemed partners and stakeholders in Indonesia.  In attendance were also KPJ Healthcare's senior leadership, including Chin Keat Chyuan, President and Managing Director and Sherene Azli, Chief Marketing Officer.

KPJHX 2024 brings together esteemed financial and hospitality institutions such as Bank Central Asia, Perisai Listrik National, Marriott International, Association of Travel Agent Indonesia, Flying Doctor Indonesia and UOB Bank that will be offering their respective comprehensive services at the Expo. Nine leading KPJ specialist hospitals are also participating, such as KPJ Healthcare hospitals from Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor, Sabah and Sarawak, along with KPJ Healthcare University. 

Indonesia is a very valued market to KPJ Healthcare as clearly seen by KPJ’s recent move to reestablish its presence through representative offices in key cities such as Batam, Bengkalis, Banda Aceh, Pontianak and soon to open, in Pekan Baru. These offices, along with a network of dedicated agents throughout Indonesia, ensure KPJ Healthcare is accessible and responsive to the needs of Indonesian patients who seek treatment in KPJ hospitals.
