Established in March 2014, Bateriku.com started as an on-demand car battery replacement service provider, evolving into an ecosystem that connects car users to roadside assistance, trusted workshops, auto parts marketplace, and ancillary services.

Bateriku.com scaled up by leveraging big data, technology, and sharing economy. To date, Bateriku.com operates close to 200 retail outlets (Pitstop) nationwide and has rendered its services to more than 1.5 million car owners.

Bateriku.com operates in all states in Malaysia, including Sabah and Sarawak. Bateriku.com plans to expand regionally, kicking off with its first Pitstop in Serpong, South Jakarta, Indonesia.

Bateriku.com employs 366 people to build its own ecosystem by training close to 1,000 gig mobile technicians (BHero), developing 78 entrepreneurs (BPreneur), and onboarded approximately 2,000 car workshops (BBuddy).

Bateriku.com provides centralized training to internal and external parties via Akademi Bateriku – a training institution endorsed by the Department of Skills Malaysia JPK and the National Dual Training System SLDN, under the Ministry of Human Resources of Malaysia.

Bateriku.com is committed to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) by embracing sustainable and ethical practices such as :-

1) Environmental :

  • Second Life - used batteries will be selected, reconditioned and repurposed as temporary batteries to extend its lifespan and reduce waste.

  • Ethical Disposal - batteries that cannot be repurposed are properly disposed by the Department of Environment’s (DOE) licensed smelter

2) Social :

The company employs people with disability, adopt sharing economy for public to generate additional income as BHero and fostering entrepreneurship as Bprenuer

3) Governance :

The company is governed transparently and adhered to the best practices to protect the best interest of its stakeholders
