On 16 July 2024, MDEC presented three awards to Finexus as a Malaysia Digital company, Peppol Service Provider (SP) among 31 providers and Peppol-Ready Solution Provider (PRSP) among only four providers, during its national e-Invoicing Open Day and Accreditation Ceremony held at M Resort & Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

Officiated by Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo, Clement Loh, the Group CEO of Finexus, received the awards onstage. This recognition testifies to the company’s capability to not only facilitate the issuance of Peppol four-corner model e-Invoices for its client companies to their international customers (MDEC SP), but also to enable other e-Invoicing solution providers to do the same (MDEC PRSP).

"We are honoured to receive these accreditations from MDEC as an official Peppol Service Provider (SP) and Peppol-Ready Solution Provider (PRSP), underscoring their trust in us as a reliable Peppol four-corner model e-Invoicing provider for both middleware and retail solutions for walk-in and online customers.

“This recognition further solidifies our commitment to process over 1 million e-Invoices every month for more than 100 companies currently. We are dedicated to assisting even more companies in meeting the LHDN mandate by the stipulated deadline in the future," stated Clement Loh, Group CEO of Finexus.

Earlier, on 26 June 2024, Finexus has also successfully went live with OpenPeppol for the four-corner model. OpenPeppol, a non-profit European organisation, developed the Peppol Business Interoperability Specifications (BIS), which standardised and enabled the exchange of common procurement documents like e-Invoices worldwide, on an open and secure network.

Peppol SPs act as access points, serving as gateways to the Peppol network by securely connecting businesses and routing e-Invoices to the intended recipients.  Hence, as a Peppol SP, Finexus can enable its client companies to issue Peppol e-Invoices for their customers.

On the other hand, PRSPs are companies that enable accounting software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and other platforms that offer e-Invoicing, to send and receive e-Invoices in the Peppol network. Hence, as a PRSP, Finexus can enable the other e-Invoicing solution providers in Malaysia to issue Peppol e-Invoices for their client companies.
