LETTER | Lend a hand to family of seven found living in car

This article is 4 years old

LETTER | We are a group of concerned Malaysians who wish to help a woman and her six children found living in a car in Rasa, Selangor.

The woman was recently divorced and the family had to move out of their apartment because of financial difficulty. She is also a cancer patient.

She had contacted social activist Kuan Chee Heng, also known as "Uncle Kentang", for help and later received aid from several quarters.

As Malaysians, we must close ranks against divisive politics by our so-called leaders in public institutions and retake our country in the name of compassion and shared values of spirituality.

We must all stand together across boundaries of race, religion and politics to save our children and fellow citizens in their time of need.

Let us rebuild our nation together as proud Malaysians once again.

Those looking to help the family can contribute via:

Pertubuhan Hindu Agamam Ani Malaysia,

Public Bank bank account number: 3213661505,

Please forward your deposit slips to 012-6755327.
