LETTER | Bye bye 2020

LETTER | It was a year full of intrigue, disappointment and irony;

It was supposed to be the culmination of our Vision 2020;

But like most things peddled by our leaders, it was all in quandary.

We lost 30 years when Vision 2020 was first conceived;

We talked of unity and unity but only when during festivities;

The bedrock of the nation is not unity but bigotry.

From Heavy Industries, Supercorridor, Growth Corridors to 1MDB;

The failures are there for everyone to see;

Ringgit dropped, debts mounted, we have endless baloney.

Covid19 pandemic is not our fault;

But how we handled it is full of flaw;

From hospital beds, vaccines and economy, everything is in peril.

Frogs are alive and kicking;

Gravy trains are speeding;

This is how our year ending.

But we shall not despair;

I want to wish you all Happy New Year;

Wishing that our prayers God will hear.
