Rude! Lim Kok Wing rues after flak over Bowie tweet
Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's former aide and advertising wizard Lim Kok Wing found himself in a twitter storm after criticising deceased music icon David Bowie's outlandish style.
Lim, however, stood his ground, and rebuked his critics for being "outrageously rude".
"I have no problems with people disagreeing with my tweets. But to be outrageously rude says a lot about themselves," he tweeted.
I find it amazing some have chosen to be embarrassingly rude. I expressed an opinion. You don't have to agree. Why be so horribly rude?

He was responding to a tweet by one Rachel Guerzo who said: "Some people think you (Lim) are crazy."
She was replying to a tweet by Lim last night defending his criticism of Bowie's style.
"David Bowie is dead. I never understood him, why he would paint his face and wear the clothes he did. But obviously he was very popular," read Lim's original tweet.
When the brickbats rained, he hit back, saying: "Some people obviously have mistaken creativity to mean being outlandish or outright crazy or going against everything that's in existence."
Lim is the founder of the LimKokWing university, which specialises in creative fields.
Bowie, 69, died after an 18-month battle with cancer yesterday.
He shot to stardom in 1972 when he portrayed doomed bisexual alien rock star, Ziggy Stardust, wearing outrageous costumes, makeup and bright orange hair.
