Needs-based economic agenda remark not aimed at Azmin, says Anwar

PKR president Anwar Ibrahim has clarified that his refusal to compromise on Pakatan Harapan's economic agenda being needs-based instead of race-based was not directed at his deputy Azmin Ali.

Responding to a question on this, he said: “No, I was just reiterating this (stand) because I sense that there is some confusion... Some Malays feel that when we talk about a policy based on needs, their position will be marginalised.”...
