Warisan veep denies claims of vote-buying in party election
Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) vice-president Junz Wong has denied allegations of vote-buying at the recent party elections, calling the claims a form of diversion.
"I strongly believe this is only a tactic to divert attention from the fact that Warisan has such strong influences in Sabah. Many are unwilling to admit and accept this fact," Wong told Malaysiakini when contacted today.
He said he welcomed the relevant authorities to probe this matter and investigate if there is any basis for the claims or evidence of vote-buying....
