RON97 prices up 8 sen, others unchanged

A litre of RON97 will cost eight sen more this coming week while RON95 and diesel prices will not change.

RON97 will cost RM2.76 per litre in the coming week while RON95 is still capped at RM2.08 per litre and RM2.18 per litre for diesel.

In a statement today, Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng said the federal government is expecting to spend RM126.52 million in the coming week to keep RON95 and diesel prices stable.

The actual price of RON95 petrol, according to the government's automatic pricing mechanism (APM), was RM2.46 per litre and RM2.52 per litre for diesel.
