He said Koon is being investigated under Section 505 for making a statement conducing to public mischief, which carries a punishment of up to two years in prison, or a fine, or both.
He is also being investigated under Section 233 under the Communications and Multimedia Act 1988 for improper use of network facilities, which carries a fine of up to RM50,000 or up to a year imprisonment, or both.
The businessperson had suggested on his blog that many armed forces personnel had never fired a bullet, and done nothing "except eating and sleeping" and should be deployed to work in Felda plantations.
