12 private schools closed because of the haze

According to an Education Ministry media release today, 12 private schools have closed because of the haze, affecting lessons for 7,432 pupils.

In Selangor, Tenby International School Setia Ecohill (465 students), Tanarata International School (418), Cempaka Cheras (277), Straits International School (203), King Henry VIII College (480) and Eaton International School (59) have closed.

In Kuala Lumpur, Garden International School (1,982), Cempaka International School (1,005) and Sri Utama School (346) have closed.

In Putrajaya, school is out for International Modern Arabic School (1,500) and Nexus International School (625), as well as UCSI International School in Negeri Sembilan (72).
