Hadi meets S'wak CM on unity and cooperation
PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang today paid a courtesy call on Sarawak Chief Minister Abang Johari Openg.
Hadi said they spoke about efforts to strengthen the cooperation between PAS-led states and Sarawak.
"We exchanged views about efforts to foster the friendship between Kelantan, Terengganu and Sarawak and subsequently to strengthen cooperation and maintain unity and peace in the country," he said in a Facebook post.
Hadi said also present during the meeting at Abang Johari's office in Kuching were Terengganu Menteri Besar Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan and Sarawak PAS commissioner Jofri Jaraiee.
Yesterday, Hadi attended a PAS-organised Malaysia Day event at Bintulu.
During the event, PAS urged the locals there to reject the DAP in the upcoming general election, claiming that the DAP was seeking to give control of Sarawak and its wealth to the Chinese.
He urged the bumiputera communities to unite to prevent Chinese control.
