Lawyer: Cops have CCTV, why ask proof of torture in LTTE case

A lawyer acting for one of the individuals detained on suspicion of involvement in the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) today criticised Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador for demanding the complainant to show proof of being mistreated.

"You placed them incarcerated in Bukit Aman and then Sungai Buloh prison, shouldn't you deliver the closed-circuit television (CCTV) or lock-up diary to prove there were no abuses?...
