IGP: Cybercrime comprises almost half of all commercial crime

Commercial crime increased 4.3 percent to 21,862 cases as of October this year compared to 20,913 cases recorded in the same period last year, said Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador.

This resulted in a total loss of RM5.8 billion this year, he told a commercial crime conference held at Universiti Malaya today.
