Shafee: Najib shocked, expected to be acquitted of all charges

SRC TRIAL | Former premier Najib Abdul Razak was shocked with the Kuala Lumpur High Court's decision, according to his lawyer Muhammad Shafee Abdullah.

He said the defence team was confident that Najib would be acquitted on all seven charges related to SRC International Sdn Bhd, instead of being ordered to enter his defence.

"He was shocked that defence was called for every charge. He, too, was expecting an acquittal on all seven charges...
