Hisham: I did not orchestrate visit to Azmin's house
Former Umno vice-president Hishammuddin Hussein has denied allegations that he planned the meeting between opposition MPs and Economic Affairs Minister Azmin Ali in Putrajaya last night.
"Allegations that I led (an opposition delegation) during a meeting with Azmin last night is not true. I didn't plan that meeting.
"However, if the Umno disciplinary board wants to investigate me, I am ready to be investigated. I have nothing to hide," he wrote on Twitter today.
Hishammuddin was responding to Umno supreme council member Lokman Noor Adam's allegation of him masterminding the meeting with Azmin.
Last night at least 22 BN MPs and five from PKR were believed to be at Azmin's official residence at Presint 10, Putrajaya for dinner.

Lokman claimed that Hishammuddin had been acting as a "middleman" for Umno MPs who wished to join Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad's party Bersatu.
Meanwhile, Umno disciplinary board chairperson Mohamed Apandi Ali said in a statement that it expected to receive complaints about the meeting at Azmin's house soon.
"The disciplinary board will take immediate action and investigate the matter," he said.
