Apandi quits Umno's disciplinary board despite sec-gen's efforts
Mohamad Apandi Ali today confirmed that he had officially tendered his resignation as Umno's disciplinary board chairperson earlier this month.
This was despite efforts by Umno secretary-general Annuar Musa to push for a meeting with him to "clear things up" in regards to allegations that Umno's leadership had interfered with the disciplinary board's action against Sembrong MP Hishammuddin Hussein.
