Ex-DPM's son summoned to Bukit Aman over blog post on TMJ
Tamrin Abdul Ghafar, the son of former Deputy Prime Minister Abdul Ghafar Baba, has been summoned to appear at Bukit Aman tomorrow for questioning.
This is over comments he had made about Johor Regent Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim.
"I have been called by Bukit Aman at 11am tomorrow over my writing titled: "TMJ - Bodoh Sombong Yang Tak Boleh Diajar" (TMJ - An ignorant person who cannot be taught)," Tamrin said in a statement.
The article was uploaded on his personal blog on Feb 1.
In the article, he had criticised Tunku Ismail's position against Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad and made unflattering comments about the prince.
Tamrin was formerly with Umno but joined PAS in 2012.
However, he parted ways with the Islamist party after the break up of Pakatan Rakyat and PAS drifting towards Umno.
