Three more positive Covid-19 infections in S'pore, total stands at 75
CORONAVIRUS | Singapore's Health Ministry today confirmed three more Covid-19 cases in the republic, bringing the tally to 75.
Of these, the ministry said two were linked to the cluster at the Grace Assembly of God church, while the other is linked to the 41st case, a 71-year-old male Singaporean who was confirmed positive on Feb 8.
"All three are Singapore citizens and have no travel history to China," the ministry said in a statement today.
With this latest development, 18 of the confirmed cases are now linked to the Grace Assembly of God church.
One of the two cases linked to the cluster at the church is a 43-year old regular serviceman in the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) who did not go to work since the onset of symptoms.
The serviceman who stays at Lorong 8 Toa Payoh was identified as a close contact of the 51st case, a 48-year-old male Singapore citizen, with no recent travel history to China.
To date, the ministry said five cases have been linked to The Life Church and Missions Singapore, nine have been linked to the cluster associated with medical shop Yong Thai Hang, three cases have links to the private business meeting held at the Grand Hyatt Singapore, and five to the Seletar Aerospace Heights construction site.
In an update on the condition of confirmed cases, the ministry said a total of 19 cases have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospital.
Of the 56 confirmed cases who are still in the hospital, most are stable or improving, while five are in critical condition in intensive care.
