Ahmad Maslan files application to strike out RM2m money laundering charge

Pontian MP Ahmad Maslan has filed an application for his RM2 million money laundering charge to be dropped on grounds that it is baseless and contravenes the law.

This was revealed by his lawyer Hamidi Mohd Noh to the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court this morning.

Deputy public prosecutor Siti Noor Hafizan Zakaria confirmed that they were served with the application on Feb 14 and sought time for the prosecution to reply to the application...
