Dr M who oversaw Malaysia's worst crisis says Covid-19 is worse

Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who as premier oversaw Malaysia's worst economic crisis in 1997, said the ongoing Covid-19 situation is worse than what he had to deal with during that time.

"This is worse than the financial crisis," he said in an interview with Bloomberg TV.
