Avoid nonchalant attitude to MCO - FT minister urges M'sians

CORONAVIRUS | Federal Territories Minister Annuar Musa has urged Malaysians to limit their movements during the movement control order (MCO) period to curb the spread of Covid-19.

Describing the situation in Malaysia as not yet sufficiently strong to fight off the pandemic, Annuar urged the public from taking a nonchalant (acuh tidak acuh) attitude to the MCO imposed by the government.

He said signs of this attitude was revealed by reports to the authorities on the increase in the number of vehicles in the capital.

“We have yet to master the war (against Covid-19), so the people cannot take an acuh tidak acuh attitude towards the MCO.

“I was given a report by PDRM (Royal Malaysian Police) that the number of vehicles in KL (Kuala Lumpur) has increased again and that there were still those who brought their babies for sightseeing...
