MCO: Chief Justice orders remand proceedings conducted at police stations

CORONAVIRUS | Chief Justice Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat has ordered all remand proceedings to be conducted at police stations nationwide rather than at courts during the movement control order (MCO) period.

According to a copy of a letter by Federal Court chief registrar Ahmad Terrirudin Mohd Salleh dated April 1, Tengku Maimun agreed to the request by Deputy Inspector-General of Police Mazlan Mansor.
