Johor ruler: Ramadan bazaars can wait

CORONAVIRUS | Johor ruler Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar has decreed that Ramadan bazaars should not be held during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Every day new cases are being detected. Now is not the time to hold any event involving mass gatherings.
"The complete effect of the movement control order must be achieved first. This must be our priority and concern. The Ramadan bazaar can wait,” he said in a statement published on Facebook.
Ramadan is expected to start on April 23, just over a week after the movement control order period is supposed to end on April 14...
