Cops, army to enforce social distancing at Selayang market

CORONAVIRUS | The government has decided to deploy the police and the armed forces to enforce social distancing at the Selayang wholesale and wet markets.
Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said despite a warning yesterday, marketgoers were still not observing social distancing.
"They were still crowding the market, not following the SOP regarding physical distancing of one-metre and so on.
"The (special ministers') meeting (on the movement control order) has decided today to place police and army personnel at the market to ensure compliance," he said at a press conference in Putrajaya today...
