DAP lawmaker Teo Nie Ching claims a joint-aid programme with the Social Welfare Department to give food necessities to needy families in Kulai had to be postponed due to political interference, allegedly in the name of MCA president Wee Ka Siong.
Teo said the government agency involved had reportedly received instructions and relayed to her side that aid for opposition constituencies would be handed over to Wee to be streamlined.
