Bernama ends CEO's contract
BernamaThe Bernama board of governors has decided to end the contract of its chief executive officer, Nurini Kassim, effective May 16.
Board chairperson Suhaimi Sulaiman said in a meeting today, the board also decided that editor-in-chief Mokhtar Hussain will be interim CEO.
"It is normal for any business organisation to continue finding the right professional leader to make the organisation strong," Suhaimi said in a statement.
Suhaimi, 57, who has vast experience in broadcasting and journalism, is a former CEO and editor-in-chief of TV news channel Astro Awani.
