NSC issues guidelines for businesses in the 'new normal'
The government has issued 26 new guidelines for businesses that are allowed to operate beginning May 4.

In general, the guidelines state that these businesses must ensure the following:
Social distancing of at least one metre and preferably two metres
Encourage the wearing of facemasks
Encourage frequent hand washing or use of hand sanitisers
Sanitise business premises at least twice a day
Record temperature of staff and visitors
Staff training to identify and report Covid-19 symptoms
Banning of all large gatherings
In the event where a business activity does not allow social distancing to take place, personal protective equipment must be supplied to the staff.
