Minister urges gov't to freeze issuance of new licences for liquor sale

Federal Territories Minister Annuar Musa has urged the government to freeze the issuance of new licenses for the sale of liquor pending new guidelines and laws.
"Following drink-driving incidents with some involving accidents, it is reasonable that the issuance of new licences for the sale of liquor be frozen until new guidelines and review of laws could be made.
