Teachers ordered to return to posts in preparation for schools reopening

The Education Ministry has instructed teachers to return to their posts in preparation for the reopening of schools.
In a letter dated today that is addressed to the ministry’s division chiefs and state education departments, Education Ministry deputy director-general Adzman Talib said teachers should be prepared to return to their duties once school holidays end on June 7 or June 8 depending on the states.
This is in line with the Public Service Department’s instruction to the civil service on May 6 to be at their place of posting and be ready to resume their duties.
