Ipoh cops to probe their own personnel for alleged mistreatment against five activists

Ipoh police will investigate claims their own officers allegedly mistreated five activists who were arrested after holding a protest near the Raja Permaisuri Bainun hospital earlier this month.
Ipoh deputy police chief Mohamed Nordin Abdullah said this in a statement after the activists (photo) filed police reports against the police officers on the matter at the Ipoh district police headquarters today.
