Mosti to formulate atomic energy bill to update, regulate safety aspect

The Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry (MOSTI) through the Atomic Energy Licensing Board (AELB) will formulate the Atomic Energy Bill (Ruuta) to update, empower control and regulate safety and use of atomic energy to keep abreast of the latest developments.

Ruuta would replace the existing Atomic Energy Licensing Act 1984 (Act 304), AELB said in a statement today...
