85pct of construction projects disrupted by MCO have resumed: minister

To date, 85 percent of construction projects nationwide involving government contracts that have stalled due to the implementation of the movement control order (MCO), have been resumed, said Senior Minister (Infrastructure) Fadillah Yusof.

He said the remaining 15 percent could not be continued because the contractors involved faced problems such as lack of building materials or manpower apart from some who had cash flow problems.
