Sabah election: Take seriously new norms, SOP - EC

SABAH POLLS | The new norms and compliance with prescribed standard operating procedures (SOPs) are among the priorities and must be taken seriously by all parties in the Sabah state election next month to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Election Commission (EC) deputy chairperson Azmi Sharom said improvements to the SOPs on handling elections during the Covid-19 pandemic would be made based on the current situation in Sabah, whereby the coming state election, which will be the 16th and involved a contest for 73 state seats.
