Najib benefitted from 1MDB-linked transactions: Ex-1MDB CEO

Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak were among those who benefited from an alleged conspiracy involving transfers of billions of ringgit linked to 1MDB, the Kuala Lumpur High Court heard today.

1MDB’s former CEO Shahrol Azral Ibrahim Halmi testified that Najib, alongside wanted businessperson Low Taek Jho or Jho Low and several others had benefited from the monetary transfers that formed the crux of the 25 charges against the former premier.
