MACC nabs ex-ministry official over bribe in RM118m fertiliser contract

The MACC has detained a ministry's former principal assistant secretary on suspicion of accepting bribes for a fertiliser tender amounting to RM118 million.
Magistrate Syah Wira Abdul Halim has allowed for the suspect to be remanded for seven days starting today following an application at the Putrajaya Magistrate's Court this morning.
The 42-year-old suspect was arrested at about 11pm yesterday...
