Below are verified locations which are reported to be affected today.

However, the list does not include locations which have been closed temporarily pending results of swab tests on persons under investigation.

These locations have also been duly sanitised.

Residences

- Menara Simfoni, Seri Kembangan

The apartment management confirmed in a circular to its residents today that a resident there has tested positive for Covid-19 today (Oct 11). The man's wife and child are undergoing quarantine at home.

The management also said it is shutting down all the apartment facilities as an added precaution, on top of complying with the standard operating procedures from the Health Ministry.

- Fadason Business Centre Apartment, Kepong

The apartment management confirmed yesterday in a circular to its residents that one of their residents had tested positive for Covid-19.

The common areas have since been thoroughly disinfected, the management assured.

- Pangsapuri Desa Lembah Permai, Ampang

Lembah Jaya assemblyperson Haniza Talha has confirmed that a resident has been confirmed positive for Covid-19.

Sanitisation and disinfection works have been carried out at the apartment building.

- Residensi Bistaria, Ampang

The apartment's joint-management board in a circular today informed residents that an occupant in Block D was confirmed to be positive with Covid-19.

It said the patient's family members are now under quarantine but also advised all residents in the whole block to also quarantine as an extra precaution.

It also advised all residents who have Covid-19-like symptoms to immediately seek treatment.

Offices

- Menara TM One, Damansara Kim

Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) has confirmed that one of its employees at this location has tested positive for Covid-19. The building has been closed for seven days to facilitate thorough sanitisation and disinfection.

- Kepayan Telekom Office, Kota Kinabalu

Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) has confirmed that one of its employees at this location has tested positive for Covid-19. The office has been closed much earlier due to the rising cases in Sabah recently.

Businesses

 - IMU Chiropractic Centre, Bukit Jalil

One of their staff has tested positive for Covid-19 on Oct 10, the management said in a statement.

It said the individual has not been to their premises since Oct 9 and has been admitted to the hospital.

The centre has been closed for sanitisation and disinfection work and will resume operations upon clearance from the Health Ministry.

- Bank Islam Lahad Datu

One of the employees at the Bank Islam branch in Lahad Datu has tested positive for Covid-19.

Bank Islam chief executive officer Mohd Muazzam Mohamed said the employee has been in self-quarantine since Sept 28 after travelling to Tawau.

The branch, including the self-service terminals, will close immediately until a yet-to-be-determined date.

- Ong Tai Kim supermarket, Gombak

The supermarket has undergone sanitisation and disinfection after a customer tested positive for Covid-19 on Oct 8. It has been ordered to close.

Close contacts have been traced and screened.

- Bangsar Shopping Centre, Kuala Lumpur

An employee of the Origani store on the ground floor of the Bangsar Shopping Centre has tested positive for Covid-19. The staff was on duty on Oct 6 and has not been in the mall since then.

The store closed immediately and all its staff are undergoing swab tests in compliance with the Health Ministry.

The Bangsar Shopping Centre management said they will close the mall early at 8pm today (Oct 11) to undergo the sanitisation and disinfection process of its own initiative. The mall will resume normal operating hours tomorrow (Oct 12).

London Sales Cosmetics, which operates the Origani store, updated on Oct 13 that their employee who previously tested positive for Covid-19 has since tested negative.

“After another two rounds of NPS PCR testing and extensive blood work, her results came back negative for Covid-19.

“This conclusively demonstrates that the original diagnosis was erroneous and a false positive report,” said the company in a statement on Facebook.

The employee is currently healthy and back home with family members, all of whom also tested negative for Covid-19.

Meanwhile, the company said 95 percent of their operations staff have already tested negative for Covid-19 while the remaining five percent are still awaiting their results.

- Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur

An employee of London Sales Cosmetics Sdn Bhd (LSC), which operates Surreal by Elevatione Time Stops in Mid Valley Megamall, has tested positive for Covid-19.

The employee had informed the company on Oct 9 that one of her family members had been exposed to the virus and she subsequently also quarantined and tested for Covid-19.

She was then confirmed positive on Oct 10 and the management was informed on Oct 11.

The outlet has been closed immediately until further notice. Sanitisation work in the outlet, as well as all common areas throughout the mall, is ongoing.

LSC also operates two other outlets in The Gardens Mall, which were also affected by the employee.

LSC updated on Oct 13 that their employee who previously tested positive for Covid-19 has since tested negative.

The Managements of The Gardens Mall (TGM) and Mid Valley Megamall (MVM) would like to confirm a positive COVID-19 case...

- The Gardens Mall, Kuala Lumpur

An employee of London Sales Cosmetics Sdn Bhd (LSC), which operates the Origani and Elevatione Time Stops in the mall, has tested positive for Covid-19.

The employee had informed the company on Oct 9 that one of her family members had been exposed to the virus and she subsequently also quarantined and tested for Covid-19.

She was then confirmed positive on Oct 10 and the management was informed on Oct 11.

The two outlets have been closed immediately until further notice. Sanitisation work in the outlets, as well as all common areas throughout the mall, is ongoing.

LSC also operates another outlet in Mid Valley Megamall, which was also affected by the employee.

- 3 Damansara (formerly Tropicana City Mall), Petaling Jaya

The 3 Damansara management announced that one of their security personnel tested positive for Covid-19 today. The security personnel was stationed at the mall's Fire Command Centre.

It said the employee had not reported to work since Oct 9 after another person living in the same house tested positive for Covid-19.

Offices of political parties

- Larut Bersatu office, Perak

Larut Bersatu organising secretary has been confirmed to have Covid-19. The office has undergone sanitisation and disinfection.

Meanwhile, Larut MP and Bersatu secretary-general Hamzah Zainudin is also currently under quarantine.

Schools 

- SMK Puchong Permai, Puchong

The school was informed on Oct 9 that a student had been found positive with Covid-19. The student last attended school on Oct 2.

The school has since been ordered by the Health Ministry to close from Oct 12 to Oct 16. The closure involves all students, teachers and other workers.

- SMJK Chong Hwa, Jalan Gombak, Setapak

A teacher has tested positive. Her husband had earlier tested positive after travelling to Sabah recently for work.

The school has since been ordered to close from Oct 9 to Oct 16.

- SK Seri Kundang, Rawang

The primary school is closed from Oct 12 to 16 due to exposure to Covid-19.

Students of a Year 6 class have been instructed to get swabbed at the Kuang Health Clinic.
