Police probe 'false sexual assault claim' involving Malacca speaker

Police are probing circulation of “false claims” that Malacca speaker Ab Rauf Yusoh had committed sexual assault.

State Criminal Investigative Department chief Mohd Nor Yhazid said an investigation paper has been opened under Section 500 of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communication and Multimedia Act 1988.
