S'gor MB did not flout quarantine order - aide

Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari did not violate any quarantine order by visiting a water treatment plant on Oct 4, one week after he arrived from his trip to Sabah.

In a statement today, private secretary and special aide Saifudin Shafi Muhammad said Amirudin's first test for Covid-19 conducted at the KLIA2 on Sept 28 was negative and the result was made known to him on the next day.

This was in line with Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob's statement where individuals who arrived from Sabah need not observe a full 14-day quarantine...
