TV3 apologises for calling Kamala Harris daughter of 'illegal immigrant from India'

TV3 has apologised for describing United States vice-president-elect Kamala Devi Harris as "anak pendatang tanpa izin dari India" (child of an illegal immigrant from India) in its Buletin 1.30.

Taking to Twitter, TV3 issued a correction and apologised for the error.

The Buletin TV3 segment featured Harris' speech in Delaware following her election, where the newscaster said: “Kamala, 56, has made history in the US with her election as the first woman vice-president.

“She also made history for being the first black woman and of Asian descent to...
