NSC greenlights ‘green travel bubble’ to boost domestic tourism

Limited inter-state travel will be allowed from this Sunday (Nov 22) under four specific conditions.

Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob (above) said the National Security Council’s (NSC) decision to approve the “green travel bubble” was due to the need to aid the struggling tourism industry.

A “green state” refers to a state under a recovery movement control order (MCO). A “red state” refers to one under conditional MCO.
