DAP leader seeks to quash ruling in UUM lecturer’s suit

A Sarawak DAP leader will apply to set aside a Kuala Lumpur High Court ruling that he has to pay RM8 million in damages to a Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) professor in a defamation suit.
The party Batu Kitang chairperson Abdul Aziz Isa today said he has consulted with his lawyers on the filing of the setting-aside application against the ruling, issued in the suit against him by Kamarul Zaman Yusoff.
