1. The government will end the conditional movement control order in most states and areas, citing severe economic impacts from restrictions. In line with this, interstate travel will also be allowed nationwide, except for areas under enhanced movement control order (MCO). 

2. Umno is considering three names to be the next Perak menteri besar.

3. Johor Bersatu has suggested a retaliatory strike against Menteri Besar Hasni Mohamad, to avenge ousted Perak menteri besar Ahmad Faizal Azumu. Faizal, however, cautioned against revenge.

4. Kedah Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor made a jibe against MIC and DAP drunk on "toddy of popularity". This angered MIC and other Indian politicians, who viewed it as a racist remark.

5. MIC president S Vigneswaran said Kedah's new rare earth venture might be a bigger scandal than 1MDB.
