BUSINESSES
- TMPoint, Kajang, Selangor
A staff member at this TMPoint branch tested positive for Covid-19 on Dec 13, according to Sin Chew Daily.
The branch has been closed until further notice and close contact tracing is underway.
GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS
- Pusat Perbadanan Islam Johor (PIJ), Johor Bahru, Johor
This office is closed as a precautionary measure after a suspected Covid-19 case was detected at the dialysis centre in the building.
The suspected individual's swab test result is expected tomorrow, said PIJ senior development manager Azizi Redza Zainal to Malaysiakini.
The office was sanitised this morning and is closed until tomorrow.
- Majlis Agama Islam Johor, Batu Pahat, Johor
According to a notice by MAIJ, the Health Ministry ordered the council's Batu Pahat office to close from Dec 8 until yesterday to prevent further Covid-19 infections.
RESIDENCES
- Residensi Zamrud, Kajang, Selangor
A resident of Block D tested positive for Covid-19, the management said.
The affected unit and all common facilities will be disinfected, it added.
- Casa Green, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur
A second resident has tested positive at this condominium. The resident was in self-quarantine on Dec 13, said management.
Earlier management announced a resident of Block C tested positive on Dec 9. Common areas at Block C will be sanitised three times a week until there are no new reported cases, it said.
Common facilities are closed while renovations and move-ins are not allowed except for urgent cases.
- Pangsapuri Seri Utama, Puchong, Selangor
The management of this apartment confirmed in a notice on Dec 14 that there were residents who tested positive for Covid-19 from Block C and D.
- Serin Residency, Cyberjaya, Selangor
The management confirmed that everyone in a family, except for the son, residing in the apartment complex have tested positive for Covid-19.
The patients have all been brought to the hospital yesterday while the son is quarantining by himself at home, the management added.
Sanitisation and disinfection have been carried out here yesterday.
- Danau Impian Condominium, Taman Danau Desa, Kuala Lumpur
A resident of Level 14, Block 15 has tested positive, the management said in a notice to occupants.
All common areas including lobbies, lifts and the affected level will be sanitised, it added.
- Pangsapuri Anggun, Bandar Baru Bangi
A family of four at Block A tested positive for Covid-19 on Dec 14, the management said.
The family had visited the third-floor common area for recreational activities on Dec 6 at about 6pm, the management said.
Residents who may have had contact with the family at the time are urged to monitor their health for symptoms.
EMBASSIES
- Singapore High Commission, Kuala Lumpur
A contractor for the Singapore High Commission has tested positive for Covid-19.
Other staff members at the High Commission are not considered close contacts but they have been told to self-quarantine for 14 days as a precautionary measure.
FACTORIES
- Kossan Rubber Industries Bhd, Klang, Selangor
The glove manufacturer confirmed to Malaysiakini that Covid-19 cases have been detected at its plant, but said it could not reveal how many cases.
The cases were detected as part of its screening exercise of all employees.
The affected plant has been disinfected, workers who tested positive are in treatment or observation at Health Ministry facilities, while workers who are close contacts are in isolation at Kossan's facilities.
