An Indonesian Sriwijaya Air plane with 62 people on board is believed to have crashed around Pulau Laki, an area that is part of a cluster of islands known as Kepulauan Seribu, located off Indonesia's capital city, Jakarta.
Local media Kompas.com quoted Kepulauan Seribu district chief Djunaedi as confirming the incident.
