TRANSPORTATION HUBS

- Sultan Ismail Petra Airport, Kota Bharu, Kelantan

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Mustapa Mohamed had visited this airport on Jan 9, based on a post from his Facebook.

In it, he was pictured standing next to several taxi drivers outside the airport, though all of them were wearing masks.

This was one day before he announced he had tested positive for Covid-19.


OFFICES

- Astro Awani, Bukit Kewangan, Kuala Lumpur

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Mustapa Mohamed had visited Astro Awani on Jan 4 to tape an interview for the Agenda Awani programme, according to his Facebook.

In a picture included with the post, the Jeli MP was standing with two Astro Awani staff members. They were socially distanced but they were not wearing masks.

This was six days before Mustapa announced he had tested positive for Covid-19.

- Sin Kwang Plastic Industries, Batu Pahat, Johor

Parent company SKP Resources Bhd announced via Bursa Malaysia that its subsidiary Sin Kwang Plastic Industries has five confirmed Covid-19 cases among its employees.

Close contacts have been sent for screening. Sanitisation and disinfection have also been carried out in all affected areas.

- Centrepoint North Offices, Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur

The management said they were informed on Jan 7 that a tenant had tested positive for Covid-19.

Sanitisation and disinfection were carried out immediately on the affected floor and all common areas.

- Phileo Damansara 2, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

An occupant of Block B tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 7, the management said in a notice on Friday.

It said the common areas have been sanitised.

- Parti Bersatu Sabah headquarters, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Tandek assemblyperson Hendrus Anding attended an event here on Jan 4, where he received his appointment letter as PBS deputy secretary-general from party president Maximus Ongkili.

Hendrus tested positive for Covid-19 five days later.

In a photograph uploaded by Hendrus on his Facebook page, both men were seen to be wearing face masks at the event but some others were not, while food and beverages were also served.


BUSINESSES

- San Francisco Coffee, Symphony Square, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

A barista at this outlet tested positive for Covid-19 today, the management said.

The outlet was closed and disinfected immediately upon learning of the barista's status, while contact tracing is underway.

Staff who had contact with the barista will undergo quarantine.

- Michelangelo's, Pavilion Mall, Kuala Lumpur

A kitchen staff member tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 7, the management said.

The restaurant was disinfected on the same day, all exposed food and packaging were discarded, while all employees at the branch are in home quarantine.

The branch remains open with staff members from other branches taking over operations until Pavilion outlet workers complete quarantine.

- Hero Market, Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur

Two workers here tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 7.

They were last at the premises on Jan 5, the supermarket said.

The premises will be sanitised, all staff from this outlet will be screened for Covid-19 and quarantined while a separate team will operate the store.

- Restoran Nasi Lemak Hajah Ba'ah No 1, Taman Sri Gombak, Selangor

The management said the restaurant owner had tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 7.

As such, it urged customers who visited the outlet between Dec 25 and Jan 4 to take the appropriate precautions.

The restaurant will be closed until further notice for sanitisation.

- Maxim Dim Sum Restaurant, Gelugor, Penang

The management said an employee had tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 6.

Close contacts will undergo screening and self-quarantine.

The restaurant at Pekaka Square will be closed on Jan 10 until further notice for sanitisation.

- Feeka Coffee Roasters, Jalan Mesui, Kuala Lumpur

The cafe management said a staff member had tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 9.

The person last came to work on Jan 7 and left at 10.23am as he was not feeling well.

The cafe will be closed indefinitely for sanitisation. Meanwhile, all staff were asked to go for testing and self-quarantine.


RESIDENCES

- Nova Saujana, Shah Alam, Selangor

A couple who reside at Block A tested positive on Jan 6, the management said.

They were infected after visiting a friend on Jan 1, it said.

Common areas have been disinfected.

- The Fennel, Sentul East, Kuala Lumpur

A resident tested positive for Covid-19 and was fetched by ambulance yesterday, the management said.

All possible contaminated areas have been disinfected, it said.

Common facilities are closed while all dealings with the management at the office will be by appointment only. 

- Ken Rimba Condominium 1, Shah Alam, Selangor

Four cases have been reported in this condominium in the past two weeks, the management announced to residents.

They affect residents at different levels of Block C and were reported on Dec 28 and 31, 2020 and Jan 4 and 8, 2021.

The cases are unrelated to each other, the management said.

The management assured steps have been taken to disinfect affected areas. 

- Residensi Pandanmas 2, Kampung Pandan, Kuala Lumpur

The management confirmed in a notice today that a resident from Block D, Level 32 tested positive for Covid-19.

- Canal Gardens, Kota Kemuning, Selangor

The management confirmed in a notice on Jan 8 that a contract cleaner had tested positive for Covid-19.

Sanitisation and disinfection have been conducted in all common areas. 

- PV15, Platinum Lake Condominium, Danau Kota, Kuala Lumpur

A resident of Level 16 tested positive for Covid-19, the management said in a notice dated Jan 6.

A professional cleaning company has been appointed to conduct disinfection at relevant areas, the management added.

- Sterling Condominium, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

The management said in a notice dated Jan 7 that a resident had tested positive for Covid-19.

Disinfection has been carried out in all affected areas. 

- BSP21 Serviced Residence, Bandar Saujana Putra, Selangor

The management informed in a notice today that another two cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed from Block F, Level 11 and Block E, Level 3A.

A total of nine Covid-19 cases have been detected in the condominium, with six treated and discharged.

Disinfection and sanitisation have been conducted in all affected areas.

- D'Kiara Apartment, Puchong, Selangor

The management confirmed in a notice on Jan 8 that a resident from Block B, Fourth Floor had tested positive for Covid-19.

Disinfection was immediately carried out in the affected areas.

- Legend Heights (Residensi Lagenda), Taman Seri Segambut, Kuala Lumpur

A resident of Block A tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday, the management said in a notice.

The infected resident and their family are in quarantine at home, it said.

All common areas and facilities have been disinfected.

- Hijau Ria Condominium, Kepong Indah, Kuala Lumpur

A resident of Block 3 has tested positive for Covid-19, the management said in a notice yesterday.

The resident and family are in quarantine at home, it said.

The management will sanitise every block.

- Aseana Puteri Condominium, Puchong, Selangor

A resident of Block C tested positive for Covid-19, the management said in a notice on Thursday.

Sanitation has been done, while all facilities are temporarily closed.

- Various residential areas in Kedah

The Kedah Health Department said cases were reported in the following residential areas on Saturday:

 - Various residential areas in Kulai, Johor

According to the Kulai Health Office, the several residential areas recorded Covid-19 cases yesterday.

They are Jalan Ceria, Jalan Enggang, Taman Scientex and Jalan Persiaran Selasih in the Senai subdstrict and Taman Sri Pulai, Taman Putri and Taman Tekonologi in the Kulai subdistrict.

All recorded one case each, except for Jalan Enggang (2 cases) and Taman Teknologi (4 cases).

- Taman Seri Keningau, Keningau, Sabah

Bingkor assemblyperson Robert Tawik visited this residential area to investigate complaints of flash floods in the area, on Jan 2, seven days before he tested positive.

- Royal Domain Sri Putramas II Condominium, Kuala Lumpur

The management said in a notice dated Jan 9 that there has been a confirmed case from Block B1. This would make it the ninth Covid-19 case within the condominium.

All common areas will be sanitised and disinfected.


FACTORIES AND INDUSTRIAL AREAS

- Senai Industrial Zone, Kulai, Johor

According to the Kulai Health Office, 117 cases were detected at Jalan Perindustrian 1 and a case was detected at Senai Industrial Zone 2 yesterday.


CONSTRUCTION SITES

- Palekbang bridge construction site, Kota Bharu, Kelantan

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Mustapa Mohamed had made a working visit to this construction site on Jan 3, based on a video he posted to Facebook.

In the video, he was shown occasionally not wearing a mask while being briefed on the project.

This was seven days before the Jeli MP announced he had tested positive for Covid-19.

- Kampung Laut, Wakaf Bharu, Tumpat, Kelantan

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Mustapa Mohamed also made a working visit to the redevelopment of Kampung Laut on Jan 3, according to a video on Facebook. He was joined by Kelantan Menteri Besar Ahmad Yakob.

In the video, he was shown attending a briefing on the redevelopment, where he was not wearing a mask.

After that, he attended a joint press conference with Ahmad, where both of them were not wearing masks.

GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS

- Economic Planning Unit, Prime Minister's Department, Putrajaya

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Mustapa Mohamed attended a meeting with the staff of the Economic Planning Unit (EPU) at the Prime Minister's Department on Jan 8.

Based on a Facebook post, the meeting was held in a hall with everyone wearing masks and socially distancing.

This was two days before he announced he had tested positive for Covid-19.

- Fisheries Development Authority, Tok Bali port, Pasir Puteh, Kelantan

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Mustapa Mohamed made a working visit here on Jan 3, according to a video posted on his Facebook.

In the video, most people, including the Jeli MP, were shown wearing masks.

This was seven days before he announced he had tested positive for Covid-19.

- Dewan Sri Kinabatangan, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Bingkor assemblyperson Robert Tawik attended an event here on Jan 5, four days before he tested positive for Covid-19.

Photographs of the event show he was mostly masked but had also posed without a mask on with Sabah deputy chief minister Bung Moktar Radin, who officiated the event.

- Posimporuan Square, Tambunan, Sabah

Bingkor assemblyperson Robert Tawik handed over certificates of appointment to native and village leaders of the Tambunan constituency here on Jan 3, six days before he tested positive for Covid-19.

He was wearing a mask when he handed over the certificates but was unmasked when he spoke from the podium.

- Public Works Department, Tambunan, Sabah

Bingkor assemblyperson Robert Tawik officiated an event here on Jan 3, six days before he tested positive for Covid-19.

He wore a mask when handing over certificates but not when he was speaking from the podium.


MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS

- National Heart Institute (IJN), Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Mustapa Mohamed said on Facebook he had gone to the National Heart Institute on Jan 4 to visit a patient.

This was six days before he announced he had tested positive for Covid-19.


OTHERS

- Tok Bali Supply Base, Bachok, Kelantan

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Mustapa Mohamed had made a working visit to this base on Jan 3, according to a video he posted on Facebook.

In the video, most people were wearing masks including the Jeli MP. A few were not. 

This was seven days before Mustapa announced he tested positive for Covid-19.
